Quick Glance Terms (Questions I am asked all the time!)

• Postage is £8.00 per order. (all orders, any amount, however many items)
• Please email your order and phone through your card details.
• virginia@virginiacheeseman.co.uk is the correct email address when using PayPal
• Please check on availability before putting your PayPal payment through.
• Please put the prices on your orders, sometimes items are on special offer and I may not realise this.
• Please let me have a telephone number for you, preferably a landline and mobile.
• My telephone hours are 9am-4pm Monday - Friday / emails may be sent & answered at any time.

• Live guarantee on all livestock (free replacement or refund)

PayPal is fast becoming the most popular way to place & pay for your order. It is quick and easy for you & me! Please make sure that the correct delivery address is shown on the PayPal payment sheet!

Postage, Packing & Administration:
£8.00 on all orders

Every effort is made to ensure safe delivery. All livestock is sent by Special Delivery to arrive the following day before 1pm (Almost all parcels arrive the next day but I cannot totally guarantee a specific day). If any items are damaged please inform me on the day of arrival, you may be required to return the damaged goods and packaging. A replacement will be sent or if this is not possible your money will be refunded.

Cheques should be made payable to V. Cheeseman and to avoid any delay to your order please write your cheque guarantee card number on the back. All Visa, Maestro, Solo & Mastercard accepted (sorry I cannot take Electron cards). I cannot accept credit card payment from callers to my house. Cash, Postal Orders and Paypal also accepted (Paypal email address virginia@virginiacheeseman.co.uk).

I can only post orders within the UK. (Except spiders to Europe)

All money with orders please, unless prior arrangement is made (orders of under £25 must be paid when ordering / no exceptions)

If an item is out of stock, a credit note may be sent. (Please let me know any dates when you cannot receive livestock.)

Please confine your telephone enquiries to : Monday - Friday 9.00 am - 4.00 pm (You can of course email any day, at any time)

Cancelled orders - If an order is cancelled once payment has been made a 10% handling fee will be charged.

Please make sure that the correct delivery address is shown on the PayPal payment sheet. When I receive PayPal payments the delivery address is shown on the email, if you would like your order sent to a work address or neighbour that is fine but you will need to alter the address details. I cannot be held responsible if your order is delivered to an incorrect address, if this is the address on the email from PayPal.

You can arrange to call and collect your order at any time.
If you would like to come and look around, I am generally available most weekday afternoons and Saturdays, please email / telephone in advance to arrange an appointment.
If you are coming by train, I am happy to deliver your order to Bourne End station.
Important information for visitors - No children under 12 (My insect house is not safe for young children). I cannot accept credit card payment from callers to my house.

Ordering

Orders can be placed by email, fax or post. Once I have your credit card details there is no need to give them to me with each order. If I do not yet have your card details you are welcome to leave them on my answer machine or email the card number and then leave just the expiry date (and issue number if there is one) on my answer machine. All the prices and details for ordering are on my site. There is an order form but it is not necessary, an ordinary email is fine. My site is updated almost every day and if you have any queries about anything just email me, day or night, email is so simple. If I am here I will email straight back at any time.

I will always do my best to send a male and female when possible. However, it is not always easy to tell the sexes apart, especially in the young. Sometimes I only have one sex available. No guarantee can be given on the sex of any bug sold by me. When animals are sold as a pair this simply means two, if the animals are specifically a male and female pair this will be stated.

Animals that state 'large' may or may not be fully adult, they may be large nymphs. Animals that state 'adult' are generally fully adult but may be sub-adult. (if you only want adults please email before ordering)

Photographs - I am gradually introducing photos to my site. Please note these photos are there to represent that type of animal and may not be the exact species sold. Please contact me if you have any questions about the photos and I will do my best to help.

Sending Spiders to Europe
I am now posting spiders to EU countries that are covered by Airsure, I cannot give a live guarantee but generally Airsure parcels arrive in 2-3 days and 100% of spiders have arrived in perfect condition since I started using this service in 2007. The parcels can be tracked and are given priority handling both in the UK and abroad. The post & packing costs will be £10.00 per order. I can only accept PayPal and credit card payments in sterling.
