True Spiders and Tarantula Gallery

Sending Spiders to Europe
I am now posting spiders to EU countries that are covered by Airsure, I cannot give a live guarantee but generally Airsure parcels arrive in 2-3 days and 100% of spiders have arrived in perfect condition since I started using this service in 2007. The parcels can be tracked and are given priority handling both in the UK and abroad. The post & packing costs will be £10.00 per order. I can only accept PayPal and credit card payments in sterling.

South American Fishing Spider (Ancylometes bogotensis)
These spiders are amazing, they sit at the edge of a bowl with their front legs in the water and then pounce on their prey. Easy to keep in a humid tank or plastic box, I haven't lost any. They are pretty active and seem to eat more crickets than tarantulas, approx adult size 3cm body length.
Large Juveniles £12.00 each

Wandering Spider (Cupiennius salei)
Long legged, fast moving spiders from Central America. Attractive markings, grows up to approx. 12cm across the legs. Easy to keep in a plastic box, with a little moss.
Adult / Sub-adults £15.00 each

Tarantula Gallery
I have a number of beautiful adult / sub-adult spiders that I am sure would be snapped up if you could see them! Unfortunately as this is primarily a postal business most people don't get to see them. In this gallery are the actual spiders that you will be purchasing. It will be first come first served, each spider will be removed from the gallery as it is sold. The photos aren't brilliant but hopefully we will get better with practice. Please always state 'Gallery Spider' when ordering.

Spider sexing:- Many people are claiming to sex tarantulas, it is not an easy task, spiders can only be sexed by examining the moulted skin under a microscope. Pet shops rarely have a spider long enough for it to moult and even some dealers are claiming that their spiders are female when in reality they have no idea. I do not sex my spiders, I do not have the time, the expertise, or the inclination. I can guarantee my spiders are well cared for and healthy.

From my F.A.Q. page - Question; What do you mean by Small, Medium and Large Tarantulas?
A. It is difficult to give a size for the spiders as stock is constantly changing. Generally the small size is a spiderling up to 2cm body length, medium 2cm to 4cm and a large is sub-adult to fully adult (but a lot depends on the species!)

If you would like me to measure the body length of any medium or large spider please send me an email.
