Florida Giant Katydid (Stilpnochlora couloniana)
A large, peapod green bush cricket. They feed on many plants including bramble, privet, buddleia, fuschia & fruit. Adults approx. 5cm long. They make a pleasant chirping sound too!

Giant African Mountain Snail (Achatina marginata)
These African snails grow to a huge size. At present they have shells ranging from 10cm - 15 cm. The shells are shades of brown in a marbled pattern and the body is grey-brown. They lay clutches of large yellow eggs that look like birds eggs!

African Snow Snails (Achatina iredalei)
These African snails are not as large as the other species (adult shell length about 6cm). They have a pale, almost white shell and give birth to live babies!
